그로브다
서기 20 XX년, 고속, 소형, 다기능화한 컴퓨터는, 인간을 머신의 컨트롤로부터 해방했다.
그러나, 조작하는 즐거움은, 이윽고 취미로부터 경기로 변화해 갔다.
그 중에서, 아스테로이드 벨트로 행해지는 로켓 레이스, 7개의 바다를 전전 하는 잠수함 짐카나,
콜롯세움의 전투 경기 바트링은 인기의적이었다.
바트링으로 최대의 경기 단체인 NBA(National-Battling-Association)는,
4 종류의 로보트 머신과 경기용 머신을 공인해, 장애물, 머신의 배치를 규약해,
경기를 도맡아서 관리하고 있다. NBA의 탑런 카는 슈퍼스타로서의 부와 명성을 한꺼번에 손에 넣을 수가 있어
젊은이들의 동경 의 대상이 되고 있다.
