사이바 -더·드라곤웨폰즈
유사 이래, 전화가 끊어질리가 없는 대지 「크로드 대륙」.
1만 년 전부터는, 크로드 대륙은 동쪽과 서쪽으로 나누어져 격렬하게 전화를 섞고 있었다. 일반적으로 말하는 「1만년 전쟁」이다.
대륙의 패를 주창해 침공을 반복하는 동쪽의 대국 「우크로드 공화국」.
대하고는 우크로드 공화국의 강대한 군사력에 대항하기 위하여,
서쪽의 「페시리 왕국」 「엡포로」 「두」의 3 대국에서 결성된 「서방 동맹」.
문자 대로1만년 이상 계속되는 이 1만년 전쟁은, 양쪽 모두 승패의 행방이 안보일 정도 수렁화하고 있었다.
그러나, 교착 상태에 빠져 있던 전국이 움직였다.
우크로드 공화국이 사상최초의 생체 병기를 실전 투입해 절대인 전과를 들었던 것이다.
뒤진 서방 동맹도 생체 병기의 개발을 서둘렀다. 그리고 5년 후의 크로드달력(일력) 46494년, 범용룡형결전 생체 병기 「사이바」가 완성된다.
